CreationistYour assignment is to research the theory of the origin of life from the perspective of a non scientist who believes in a higher power. Someone with this viewpoint is highly spiritual, but can be very logical and systematic in their way of thought. This person generally only believes what they read in the Bible, Koran, or other religious writings. Factual data and scientific experimentation on this subject would be seen as vague and missing too much information to possibly prove anything convincingly. Relying on the scientific method to guide them in understanding new evidence that supports alternate theories in this matter is not seen as necessary. A person who is a strict creationist has no room to accept any other explanation for the origin of life other than what religious writings tell them. |
