Use the links listed below to help you begin to research the topic of evolution.  Most sites are appropriate for students working from all viewpoints.  I highly recommend that each of you explore as many of these sites as possible.

http://www.theory-of-evolution.org/
A good site to support those who believe in evolution.  It shows you step by step all the theories of evolution. It breaks things down into laymen's terms so anyone can understand it. It also includes many visual aides to help you.

http://www.accuracyingenesis.com/
A good site to support those who believe in creation.  In this site they explain why god exists and show proof through the ages. They break down several moments in biblical history and explain the reasons they believe it actually happened. They also explain the flaws in the theory of evolution.

For those who don't know what to think or which side to take in this debate.  You can read about both sides of one of mankind's biggest debate since "which came first the chicken or the egg?"

http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/historyoflife/histoflife.html
This site has many educational resources, including tours of exhibits that show different animals, their relationship to other animals, and their relationship to extinct animals.

http://www.evolutionhappens.net/
A basic evolution site that discusses evolution concepts.  It is a great site to get started and has links to other useful web pages.  This should be one of your starting points.

http://www.talkorigins.org/
This site addresses the debate we are focusing on in this WebQuest.  Check out the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) portion.  It may help you with some questions from Activity 2.  This site is written by scientists as an answer to questions and arguments presented by creationists.

http://www.panspermia.org/mechansm.htm
This site addresses the Evolution vs. Creationism debate.  It is short, but gives some good information from the perspective of religion.

http://www.religioustolerance.org/evolutio.htm
Here you will find a great discussion on different religions and their beliefs about creation.  It does not promote one religion or the other and is very thorough in it's comparisons.

A site created by students for students on the subject of evolution.

http://www.thedarwinpapers.com/
